Ronald McDonald House – Oldenburg

The Ronald McDonald House Charity operates 22 houses in Germany alone.  It provides a place to stay for families with hospitalized children under 18 years of age who are being treated at the nearby Elisabeth-hospital. The building extends the location to 23 apartments with large communal areas on the ground-floor. A glass incision seperates the new from the existing part. The different storeys slightly deviate and fan out into the landscape.
