M20 Berlin
Via a fluid differentiation and grouping of the various parts of the building and its gradual materialisation into transparent, translucent and opaque surfaces, the Museum for the 20th century awakens the cultural curiosity of the visitors.
The interior is experienced through a multi-layered vertical atrium that connects the different levels to a shared communication space. In between the opaque white-cube galleries and the building skin bright spaces with a high depth and transparency are created.
