EXPO 2020 – Kazakhstan Pavilion

The design of the pavilion is based on the traditional Kazakh yurt that has been further developed. Elements such as materials and construction principles were translated into a modern form. The outside is comprised of panels that automatically open and close in order to adjust to current climate conditions. On the inside the visitor is taken onto a journey through Kazakhstan that culminates in a central 360° cinema.
