Ronald McDonald House – Jena

The Ronald McDonald House Charity operates 22 houses in Germany alone. It provides a place to stay for families with hospitalized children under 18 years of age who are being treated at the nearby University-Hospital. The building has 12 apartments with the option to increase the capacity to 15. Communal spaces are located on the ground-floor with two levels of apartments above. A central atrium connects all levels with each other and is glazed to the outside.
